Bob and Cheryl Bustin are a real estate team with deep roots in Parker, Colorado. They have lived in Parker for over 38 years and co-founded the Parker Colorado Home Center at RE/MAX Alliance to serve their hometown community. Since launching their real estate careers in the mid-2000s, Bob and Cheryl have helped hundreds of families find their dream homes – with over 360 homes sold totaling more than $135 million in sales volume. Our Real Estate Background
As a former interior designer and a seasoned mortgage lender, Cheryl and Bob bring a unique combination of talents to their real estate practice. Cheryl spent years running her own interior design firm and working closely with custom home builders, which gives her an expert eye for home design and staging. Bob’s 25+ years in mortgage banking mean he thoroughly understands the financial side of home buying and selling. In 2005 they decided to turn their shared passion for homes into a full-time career, and the Parker Colorado Home Center was born. In Cheryl’s very first year as a Realtor, she was honored as the “Rookie of the Year” in her brokerage’s Parker office.

Life Outside Real Estate
Outside of real estate, Bob and Cheryl are proud parents and grandparents who value time with family. They have three adult children and – as of now – ten grandchildren in their growing family. Family gatherings and community ties are a big part of their life in Parker. Cheryl is also an avid crafter and scrapbooker (she even has a whole basement full of supplies for her projects) and she loves gardening during Colorado’s beautiful spring and summer months. Bob is a passionate bowler and spends a few weeknights in local bowling leagues; he even competes in tournaments occasionally when they aren’t busy with client. In the fall, you might find Bob cheering on his favorite college football team – he’s a die-hard Texas Longhorns fan. Both Bob and Cheryl love to travel and explore new places as well. However, as dedicated as they are to their clients, they tend to keep their vacations short and never too far from a computer or phone, just in case a client needs assistance back home.
The Bustins’ journey to Colorado is a big part of their personal story. In 1987, they moved from Austin, Texas to Parker, fulfilling Cheryl’s longtime dream of living in Colorado. It was truly a dream come true, and nearly four decades later they still can’t imagine living anywhere else. Bob and Cheryl often talk about how much they love Parker – from the wonderful four-season weather and abundant sunshine, to the panoramic mountain views right outside their door. They appreciate the strong sense of community here, the safe, family-oriented neighborhoods, and the countless parks, trails, and open spaces that make this area special. This is the place they chose to raise their own family, and it’s the place they plan to spend the rest of their lives.
